Paris Motor show sees all new Peugeot

August 22, 2008

Paris Motor show will see home favourites, Peugeot, unveil their newest concept car.  The ‘RC…’ whose full name is under wraps until the Show, is a hybrid concept car created from the full range of Peugeot’s stylists and engineers imagination and technical knowledge.

It is a ‘GT’ coupé and provides the missing link between the RC concept cars revealed in 2002 and the 908 RC, one of the stars of the 2006 Paris Motor Show. Far from just being a great looking car, It’s a working laboratory of many future ideas and brings together numerous stylistic, engineering and technological concepts in a single vehicle.

The ‘RC…’ is also an accessible and versatile car, with four doors, four seats and striking hybrid architecture.

It aims to achieve a very high level of efficiency while not compromising performance (with its potential maximum power output of 313 bhp) and minimal impact on the environment (CO2 emissions of 109 g/km in the combined cycle or ZERO in electric mode).

Truly a modern car, the ‘RC…’ seeks new levels of efficiency but without compromising on performance.  The smooth lines provide great levels of aerodynamic efficiency, and the sort of looks that blend into any landscape, but everyone that sees it will have another look.
