The Peugeot 107 is the successor to the popular 106 (of course!) and is the car built in collaboration with the Citroen C1 and the Toyota Aygo. The three cars were all designed and developed together and share many of the same parts.
The best equipped of the three city cars it's no surprise that it's also the most expensive. It comes with Electric front windows and side airbags as standard and as with the cars that it shares parts with offers good levels of both room and comfort for a car so small. Leg and head room are obviously not huge but they are adequate to the point of impressive for such a confined space.
There is one engine option available, the 1.0 petrol engine that offers 67 bhp and 0-60 in just short of 14 seconds. The engine struggles to impose itself on motorway driving. That said this isn't a car that was built to drive from John-o-groats to Lands end and as such it offers good around town miles and reasonable occasional motorway coverage.
The Handling is precise and confident although the power steering takes over so much that it leaves little room for a feel of the road. However if you want a car that's undemanding, easy to both drive and park then the 107 ticks all of the boxes. There's not much to choose between the three stable mates as they all do their jobs very well, it's all going to be down to personal tastes and budgets. The 107 is probably the most polished of the three but that comes at a slightly higher cost.
